General Manager – Black Dog Hospitality (Kingston, ON)

Black Dog Hospitality is a long‑standing, independent restaurant group with over 25 years in Kingston’s downtown dining scene. We’re looking for a people‑first General Manager to lead operations for one or more of our locations (to be determined during the hiring process).

About the Role

You’ll oversee daily operations, team culture, guest experience, and fiscal discipline. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, community‑focused hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support FOH teams with professionalism and positivity
  • Maintain high standards of service, atmosphere, and guest experience
  • Manage labour, inventory, cost controls, and financial performance
  • Ensure product consistency and uphold brand standards
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff
  • Support safe, compliant, and inclusive operations
