Join Us From the Beginning

L'Éclatant Cake Boutique & Cafe is opening soon, and we're looking for a talented Baker to join our opening team. You'll work alongside our Head Pastry Chef to produce premium handcrafted cakes and desserts in a collaborative, quality-focused kitchen. If you take pride in your craft and enjoy creating exceptional products, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and decorate handcrafted cakes while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
  • Produce specialty desserts and support daily kitchen production following established recipes and standards.
  • Support with daily baked goods and savoury menu preparation as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef and team to deliver exceptional products and support daily operations.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of cake decorating, pastry, or bakery experience.
  • Passion for creating high-quality cakes and desserts with consistency and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Pastry or culinary education and experience in a commercial bakery or cafe are considered assets.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs), and perform repetitive kitchen tasks.
  • Comfortable working safely with commercial bakery equipment.
