Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining and drinking experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued.

Duties

  • Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the bar and tables
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate cash registers with proper cash handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
  • Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, utensils, and beverages
  • Ensure responsible serving of alcohol following all legal regulations and company policies
  • Assist in food handling, serving, and clearing tables efficiently

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety, and food handling procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining quality service
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and calculating bills or tips
  • Knowledge of hospitality best practices to create a welcoming environment
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
  • Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific procedures
