Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sharing information about our local attractions and history while providing an engaging experience for our guests. As a Tour Guide, you will play a crucial role in educating visitors and ensuring they have a memorable experience.

Duties

  • Lead groups of visitors on tours, providing insightful commentary and engaging storytelling.
  • Educate guests about the historical, cultural, and natural significance of the sites visited.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse groups, adapting your presentation style to suit various audiences.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure tours run on schedule while allowing for questions and interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns from guests.
  • Maintain knowledge of current events and updates related to the tour locations to provide accurate information.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guest participation and enjoyment.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Cantonese
  • Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage an audience effectively.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse groups of visitors.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tours are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
  • Previous experience in leadership roles or customer service is preferred.
  • A passion for educating others and sharing knowledge about local attractions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and non-verbally.
  • A friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
