Emplois Driver Helper (Lower Mainland, BC)

Vavaa Distribution Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic, team players to Help deliver packages. Our Helpers for deliveries strive to get every order to the customer’s door on-time.
Company Vehicle Provided! No Commercial License Required! No Experience Needed!

MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER (Applicants must be at least 21 years old to be considered for insurance purposes).

Duties and Responsibilities-

• Our Helpers help Delivery Associates to drop off packages to customers within their community
• Use hand-held device for routing information and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Load and offload packages up to 500lbs from the truck.
• Be CUSTOMER OBSESSED! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner in the form of a deluxe delivery service across home furnishings, outdoor grills, and other large products.
• Work 4-5 days per week and up to 11 hours per day including breaks with shifts available 6 days a week.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Must be at least 21+ years old (Applicants must be at least 21 years old to be considered for insurance purposes)
• Must have a VALID BC DRIVER'S LICENSE
• Must be able to track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, adhere to all safety policies.
• Criminal Background Check is required.
• Must be able to maneuver boxes weighing between 50 and 80+lbs.
• Must be available and physically able to work a maximum of 12 hours in a day
• Must be comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day
• Must have good communication skills and the ability to work well with customers
