Overview:

Big White Ski Resort, or simply Big White, is a mountain resort located 56 km southeast of Kelowna in the Southern Interior of British Columbia. It is located on Big White Mountain, the highest summit in the Okanagan Highland, an upland area between the Monashee Mountains and the Okanagan Valley. It offers a unique opportunity for those who want to live, work, and explore in some of the most amazing natural attractions and activities Canada has to offer, including hiking, biking, skiing, and more!

Just 45 minutes away from the town of Kelowna, on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake, it is surrounded by, provincial parks, pine forest, vineyards, orchards and mountains. As part of the Big White Housekeeping team, you are responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness of Central Reservations Building. This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Clean and maintain the building
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Vacuum Carpets
  • Clean and sanitize toiles, sinks and showers
  • Clean windows and mirrors
  • Clean kitchens
  • Clean offices and conference rooms
  • Restock disposables (e.g. paper products, soaps)
  • Organizing storage rooms
  • Fulfilling tasks in a time sensitive manner
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
  • Assist guests with all questions and requests
  • All other duties as required

Details:

  • Part-time, working up to 25 hrs. a week
  • Hourly wage $21.50
  • Staff accommodation onsite, for approved applicants
  • November 2026 – April, 2027
