A nebula of management, team leaders, supervisors....yet wait lists are a year long for urgent services. Time to amalgamate a multitude of 100,000$ yearly plus jobs and bolster the front line.

Excellent woring hours. Excellent mandotory shift turn arounds. They do follow work safe BC guidelines well.

Depends on place, can be within 1 to 2 weeks, but some places can take up to a month after paperwork is all done.

Actually, people are not hired initially as a casual. If a job is not filled internally then it is posted externally. If it is a full or part time that is how it is posted. Not posted casual to try out people. When there is a casual positio posted it is because the permanent position for the job is already filled. Casual is for relief due to sickness, vacation, other absences etc.

37.5 hours per week, but I do 12 hour shifts so some weeks I work 44 hours some weeks 22.

Horrible. You are expected to work six consecutive days with two days off in between (if you are lucky and dont get bullied into overtime due to being ‘shortstaffed’) more often than not you may end your six with aa all night shift (so you sleep away your first ‘day off’) and then you may have to start your six with a 5 or 6am start! Also if there are mandatory inservices or meetings you are expected to be there!

No unless you are fully educated and it is accepted in Canada. Each province is diffrent.
