Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with diverse clientele while showcasing your skills in food and drink service within a vibrant restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
  • Take orders from customers, ensuring correct food and drink delivery while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage cashiering duties with precision and integrity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations.
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures for beverages and related items.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially in bartending roles.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Experience in hospitality or food industry roles demonstrates a solid foundation for success in this position.
