Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host or Hostess to join our team at Namaste Bistro Fredericton. Located in Fredericton, this role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring smooth seating operations. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive and manage reservations efficiently.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host station.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely seating.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage reservation systems and waitlists.
  • Uphold the restaurant’s standards of guest service and hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of reservation systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed.
