Warehouse Supervisor

Schedule: Rotating AM/PM Shift

Salary: $70,000 per annum

Benefits:

Who are we:

EggSolutions-Vanderpols Inc. formally known as Vanderpols Eggs. A food processing plant that takes shell egg’s and processes them into liquid egg to be packaged into different size of packaging for supplying a variety of options for distributor’s, retails store & food manufacturing industry.

We are now hiring for a Warehouse Supervisor our Abbotsford location. Our quickly growing company has plenty of departments to grow and develop your career!

Who are you:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with a database (such as Navision)
  • Ability to focus on quality of product and efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to focus on the health and safety of the team.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to multitask and keep things running.
  • Understanding priorities and urgency.
  • A self-thinker, and someone who looks at what is needed next week, not just today.
  • Ensure SOP's and processes are followed, and short cuts are not taken.
  • Someone who can deal with issues as they arise.
  • Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Must understand FIFO and Lot numbers fully.

What you'll do:

  • Directly supervise the warehouse employees (shipping and receiving)
  • Complete full cycle recruitment with the assistance of HR.
  • Create a training program to ensure employee are adequately trained for their position.
  • Complete daily/weekly logistical & warehouse maintenance tasks.
  • Support the health and safety program.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipping.
  • Manage important documents, procedures, processes of the warehouse.
  • Actively participate in the warehouse operations: FIFO, Navision, organization of day-to-day tasks.

What you've done:

  • 5 Years of Warehouse Supervisory experience
  • Valid Forklift License
  • Familiar with GMP and SQF requirements.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
