Praguery, The unique ice cream bakery on wheels. Ice cream and freshly baked Chimney Cakes (Trdelnik) are our specialties. We are proud of our house-made fillings, toppings, and our dough made from scratch every day with all-natural ingredients.

We have an open full-time Location Manager position for YOU!

LOCATION: SEA TO SKY GONDOLA, SQUAMISH Dessert Trailer

OPENING HOURS: 10am–7/10pm

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate is someone local to the Sea to Sky region with amazing energy, fantastic people skills, leadership experience, and a love for ice cream and pastry! You'll be responsible for running the location, leading a small team, and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile.

As the position is based in Squamish, BC, accommodation can be provided for the successful candidate. However, applicants must currently reside in British Columbia, preferably within the Lower Mainland.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Full responsibility for daily operations of the Squamish trailer location
  • Opening and closing the location following checklists, ensuring all procedures are completed
  • Leading, training, and supervising team members on recipes, service standards, and food safety
  • Scheduling shifts and managing staff availability
  • Monitoring inventory levels, placing supply orders, and coordinating with the central kitchen
  • Taking orders, accepting payments, and preparing menu items alongside your team during busy periods
  • Ensuring all menu items consistently meet Praguery's quality and presentation standards
  • Friendly communication with customers and resolving any guest concerns
  • Responsibility for cash handling, daily cash-outs, and sales reporting
  • Responsibility for food safety compliance and maintaining health standards
  • Communicating with ownership on daily operations, sales performance, and any issues
  • General cleaning duties and ensuring all areas remain clean and tidy at all times
  • Motivating and supporting your team to create a positive work environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be currently located in BC
  • Fluent English
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food service
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Available for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability throughout the season
  • Ability to operate POS system and handle daily reporting
  • Positive attitude and strong leadership skills
  • Passion for food and delivering excellent customer experiences

COMPENSATION:

Start $27/ + TIPS
