Overview

Join our dynamic team as an Expo / Food Expeditor, where your energy and attention to detail will be the heartbeat of our bustling food service environment! In this vital role, you’ll be the link between the kitchen and front-of-house, ensuring that every dish is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and enthusiasm. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests, fostering a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps everyone coming back for more. Duties

  • Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
  • Plate dishes according to presentation standards, maintaining quality and consistency
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen team about order priorities and special requests
  • Monitor food temperatures and presentation to uphold safety and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support efficient service
  • Maintain cleanliness of work stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
  • Support guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring satisfaction

Requirements

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
  • Strong communication skills to effectively relay orders and guest needs
  • Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is a plus
  • Kitchen or hospitality background including serving, food prep, or cashiering is advantageous
  • Reliable team player with excellent time management skills and a positive attitude
