The Job
Drive with Chews Local as an independent contractor. As a courier with Chews Local you're responsible for picking up and delivering orders for local restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers.

- Deliver pre-packaged grocery orders

- Carefully transport food orders from local restaurants to hungry customers

- Deliver packaged parcels from local retailers (less than 50 pounds)
- Communicate with dispatch about any issues related to an order
- Focus on quality customer service

DRIVER FAQ
How do I get paid?

As a driver with Chews Local you are paid based on the delivery charge (driving distance) plus tips. Weekly payouts range from driver to driver depending on how often you are on shift and accept orders.

How often do I get paid?

Drivers are paid weekly with funds being deposited directly into your bank account.

What will my work schedule be?

As an independent contractor with Chews Local you are free to create your own schedule. We do ask that drivers honour their set availability.

What do I need to get started?

All drivers are required to have their own vehicle, vehicle registration, a valid driver's license, automotive insurance, a smartphone with data plan and be at least 18 years of age. An approved delivery bag is also required.

How do I get notified about new Deliveries?

The Chews Local Delivery Dispatch system will dispatch deliveries to your smartphone via push notification. Active deliveries are managed by the driver through our dispatch app.

What is Chews Local Delivery?
We are a proud Canadian company providing delivery services to over 400 merchants across the country. We provide a variety of solutions, including affordable third party online delivery for restaurants and direct delivery for grocers and retailers.
