The primary duty of the CFD Engineer / Analyst is to aid in modelling efforts using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software that will optimize building designs, deliver key insights, and solve unique and complicated challenges. At this role, the individual shall build relationships within the HDR matrix, understand where CFD modelling can be applied to solve technical problems, and assist in project execution.

Specific duties include:

• Assisting the CFD team in delivery and project management to optimize facility design, with a focus on Data Centre modelling, and fire simulation for underground structures using Ansys Fluent, CFX, 6Sigma, and FDS.

• Assessing the development and deployment of computational modelling tools and capability for analysing and delivering high performance and informed building environments.

• Supporting proposal development for CFD scope.

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) The pay range for Toronto, ON: $112,000 - $136,000
