Description complète du poste

The Opportunity

RCP is seeking an experienced infrastructure leader to lead the growth of advisory and programme delivery services across British Columbia and Canada. This is a senior leadership appointment, the first dedicated infrastructure hire in the Canadian market, and is central to establishing RCP's reputation and commercial presence in the region.

The role carries both business development and delivery leadership responsibilities. You will define how RCP positions itself within BC's infrastructure landscape, and build the team and client relationships that underpin long-term growth. You will not be starting from scratch, you will have the backing of RCP's established international capability platform, its systems and methodologies, and direct support from the firm's leadership. What you bring is market depth, credibility, and the ability to open doors.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity with real autonomy. You will set direction for the Canadian infrastructure service line, have a direct hand in shaping RCP's service offering for this market, and carry the accountability that comes with building something from a strong foundation rather than inheriting a settled operation.

The role reports to the Managing Director, RCP Consulting, and is based in Vancouver.

About You

You are an established infrastructure leader with 15+ years of experience across major project advisory, programme delivery, or both. Your background likely runs through engineering, project management, or infrastructure advisory, and you bring deep sectoral experience in transport, water, energy, or ports - ideally across more than one.

Your expertise spans delivery models, funding and financing, procurement strategy, contract management, and project governance, and the credibility to advise executives, boards, and asset owners with confidence. You operate comfortably at the intersection of strategy and delivery.

You know the BC infrastructure ecosystem intimately; how decisions get made, who the key players are, and how projects move from concept to delivery. You hold established relationships across Federal, Provincial, and Municipal government, within the private sector, and with First Nations communities and organisations.

Commercially, you are confident generating revenue from the outset and have a track record of winning and sustaining client relationships, not just delivering against them. You are entrepreneurial and self-directed , accountable for quality and client outcomes, with the network and reputation to attract talent as the business grows.

About RCP

RCP is an internationally recognised advisory and programme delivery firm providing strategic project management and advisory services for governmental and corporate clients across commercial, civic, and infrastructure sectors. Established in Australia in 1981 and New Zealand in 1996, RCP now operates from thirteen locations throughout Australasia and Canada.

Our leaders provide independent, informed recommendations that enable better project decision-making and outcomes. Our longevity is founded on enduring relationships, a solutions-focused approach, and a willingness to continually refine our capabilities to meet the complexities of delivering modern infrastructure and property projects.

We also believe it is our responsibility to use our resources, skills, and experience to support and contribute to the communities we live and work in. We strive to make meaningful social, cultural, economic, and environmental improvements as part of our work to 'shape, organize and deliver a better world', helping our clients deliver spaces and places where people will thrive.

RCP welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of age, race, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
