Part-Time-Server

Mad Mexican | Toronto, ON

At Mad Mexican, we are looking for a Part-Time Server who embodies the spirit of authentic Mexican cuisine and can confidently support our kitchen operations.

All of our products are crafted with love and respect for Mexico's rich culinary traditions. Our restaurant experience is designed to engage the senses and celebrate culture. In addition to our restaurant, we operate the Mad Mexican Market, where guests can extend their culinary journey by purchasing our signature products to enjoy at home.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Greet, seat, and serve guests in a friendly and timely manner
  • Take accurate orders and relay them clearly to the kitchen
  • Meet dietary requirements and allergy requests where applicable
  • Operate POS systems and handle payment transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
  • Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations (where applicable)

What You Will Bring

  • Availability as soon as possible
  • Previous serving/FOH experience preferred
  • Spanish food experience is an asset
  • Spanish language skills required
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $17.60 per hour, plus weekly tips (will increase in line with future minimum wage increases)
  • Hours: Up to 24 hours per week
  • Schedule: (within the below hours)
  • Tuesday to Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  • Job Type: Part-Time, In-Person
  • Location: 405 Jane St, Toronto, ON M6S 3Z6

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
