Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to creating high-quality dishes and delivering exceptional food service to our guests. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent food handling skills, meal preparation expertise, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations,
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations throughout all food preparation processes
  • Help with dishwashing when necessary

Experience

  • Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation methods
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices
  • Experience working in the food industry, including kitchen experience, is highly desirable
  • Strong serving skills and understanding of customer service principles are a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the food industry

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
