Port Hope Golf & Country Club is looking for Part-Time Bartenders to support weddings, events, and other functions at our beautiful property in Port Hope.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals who enjoy working with people and can thrive in a fast-paced event environment. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must!

Pay Rate: $17.60/hour + gratuities
Start Date: September 5, 2026
End Date: October 30, 2026

Qualifications & Skills

  • Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable being firm and professional when necessary
  • Strong multitasking and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Provide bartending and customer service during events
  • Serve guests as they arrive and throughout the event
  • Act as a parking attendant as guests arrive
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down event spaces, including moving ceremony chairs to storage
  • Stock and maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar
  • Wash and restock glassware
  • Clear dirty glassware and other items from tables throughout events
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bathrooms, mansion, veranda, and surrounding grounds
  • Tear down, clean, and restock at the end of each shift
  • Assist the Events Coordinator/Event Lead with other event-related duties as required

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including for an entire shift
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, carry, pull, and place items weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced event environment
