Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment by preparing and serving high-quality meals in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a restaurant or food industry setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients
  • Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
  • Support team members during busy hours to ensure prompt service
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or quick food service environment
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with other staff members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures is preferred but not required

This role is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen.

Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
