Position Summary

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items at the snack bar while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting efficient food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

Food & Beverage Service

  • Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to company standards.

  • Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and provide correct change.

  • Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer customer questions as needed.

  • Ensure timely service to guests, especially during peak periods.

Kitchen & Snack Bar Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times.

  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.

  • Stock and replenish snack bar supplies, ingredients, and beverages as required.

  • Assist with inventory management and monitor product levels.

  • Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor.

Customer Service & Teamwork

  • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests.

  • Work collaboratively with other snack bar, lounge, and floor staff to support smooth operations.

  • Support a positive and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous food service or cashier experience preferred.

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset (or ability to obtain).

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGCO Gaming Assistant License.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Working Conditions

  • Snack bar environment within a gaming facility.

  • Exposure to food preparation equipment, hot surfaces, and noise.

  • Fast-paced service with peak hours during evenings and weekends.
