Job Summary

  • Prepare and serve meals in a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Support daily food service operations by following recipes, maintaining food quality, and providing courteous service to guests.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members to keep meal preparation running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Complete food preparation and meal preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.
  • Cook menu items according to recipes, timing requirements, and quality standards.
  • Assist with serving meals and replenishing food service areas as needed.
  • Follow food safety and food handling practices, including proper hygiene, temperature control, and storage procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and dining or service areas.
  • Restock supplies, monitor ingredient levels, and notify the team when items need replenishing.
  • Maintain an orderly workspace and follow workplace safety procedures.
  • Communicate with team members to coordinate orders and support efficient service.

Experience

  • Previous kitchen experience, restaurant experience, or food service experience is helpful but not required.
  • Cooking, food preparation, serving, or other food industry experience is an asset.
  • Ability to follow instructions, work cooperatively, and stay organized in a busy environment.
  • Willingness to learn and consistently follow food safety and food handling procedures.

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
