About Classic Woodwork
At Classic Woodwork, we bring exceptional architectural millwork projects to life. Every project is the result of close collaboration between creative vision and flawless execution.
Our standard is simple: no guesswork, no overlooked details.
Excellence is built—one step at a time.
Your role
As a Technical Designer / Draftsperson, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of high-end residential projects. As the technical reference within the team, you will ensure the consistency, feasibility, and technical integrity of every design—from the initial concept through production and installation.
Your responsabilities will include:
Technical Design & Solution Development
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Designers on the technical development of complex custom millwork projects.
- Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project constraints to develop practical, efficient solutions that meet our quality standards.
- Develop advanced technical details, including joinery methods, anchoring systems, interfaces with other trades, integrated lighting solutions, and other architectural details.
- Ensure the technical consistency and manufacturability of each project from concept through fabrication.
Internal Team Support
- Mentor and support drafters by providing technical guidance, best practices, and design expertise during the preparation of shop drawings.
- Work closely with Project Managers to anticipate technical challenges and minimize design risks before production.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and installation teams whenever required.
Technical Review & Quality Control
- Review and approve technical drawings before they are submitted to clients or released to production.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards, manufacturing capabilities, and contractual requirements.
- Identify inconsistencies, potential issues, or missing information and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
Communication & Documentation
- Communicate effectively in both French and English with internal teams and external partners, including architects, designers, and consultants.
- Document technical solutions, construction standards, assembly methods, and best practices to strengthen the company's technical knowledge base.
Your expertise will have a direct impact on the quality, precision, and execution of our most prestigious custom projects.

We're looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about technical excellence and committed to developing practical, long-lasting solutions.
