Job Summary
Halina is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Restaurant Part Time Server to join our team. We pride ourselves on blending vibrant Filipino flavours with local Canadian cuisine to create an unforgettable dining experience. As the face of Halina, you will ensure guests receive exceptional service and warm hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love unique food concepts, we want to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Greet guests warmly, introduce our unique fusion menu, and make detailed recommendations based on preferences.
  • Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system and communicate dietary needs to the kitchen.
  • Food Delivery: Deliver dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
  • Table Maintenance: Pre-bus tables, clear dishes, and maintain section cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Financial Transactions: Issue accurate bills, process cash/card payments, and balance your cash drawer daily.
  • Side Work: Complete opening, closing, and restocking duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 years of serving experience in a fast-casual or fine-dining environment.
  • Passion for food and ability to learn and explain Filipino-Canadian fusion ingredients.
  • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long periods.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings. [1, 2]

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour + tips.
  • Job Type: Part-time.
  • Benefits: Employee discounts, Free shift meals

Pay: $16.50-$17.00 per hour
