Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Staff/Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving food, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a restaurant or food service setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming dining experience while honing culinary skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with food plating and presentation to ensure appealing dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
  • Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
  • Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Experience not required
  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles, preferably within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
  • Prior experience with serving or meal service is a plus but not mandatory
  • Food industry or kitchen experience is highly desirable
