Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Morning Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Morning Server, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent customer service will help create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry knowledge and passion for hospitality while working in a lively morning environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly as they arrive and promptly seat them, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
  • Provide attentive guest service by checking on tables regularly, answering questions about menu items, and offering upselling suggestions to enhance their experience
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining proper sanitation and food safety standards
  • Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy mornings
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation regulations
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing personalized attention to each guest

Experience

  • Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in food industry roles such as serving or cashiering demonstrates readiness for this position
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order processing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy morning shifts in a fast-paced environment
