Yantzi Home Design Smart is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer.

The individual would have the ability to collaborate with customers providing design, quotes and manage project from start to finish to provide a completed project of your customers' dream kitchen.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Greet people in the showroom and educate them on our products and services.
  • Identify prospective clients and follow up with inquiries.
  • Independently hold client consultations in the showroom and/or on site, and gather required information for project, i.e. site measurements, appliance specs, client preferences and needs, etc.
  • Develop detailed drawings such as plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using 20/20 Design Software (or other design programs) and tailored design packages to fit each project needs and communicate these materials with clients contractors and subtrades.
  • Generate quotes based on client selections from suppliers inventory and costs.
  • Create project contracts for client review and approval, accept deposits for projects
  • Create and submit orders to suppliers and complete all necessary paperwork for receiving and office records.
  • Coordinate projects, maintain communication and build relationships with clients and contractors from start to completion.
  • Maintain communication and relationships with suppliers and sales reps.
  • Handle warranty replacements for current and past projects
  • Clean and maintain showroom displays and samples as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Good understanding of kitchen and bathroom products and materials available in the current market.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to work in face-paced environment
  • Good understanding of cabinetry design
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • 20/20 Design and/or AutoCAD experience required
  • Degree in Interior Design or Diploma in Interior Decorating an asset.

This position requires a vehicle as the successful candidate will be traveling to job sites for on-site meetings and site measures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
