We are seeking a dedicated and professional Client Relationship Manager (Wealth Advisor) to join our financial services team. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing tailored financial guidance, and supporting their wealth management goals.

The ideal candidate will initially support Advisors and Portfolio Managers in developing customized financial strategies for clients by gathering and analyzing financial data, contributing to sound investment recommendations, and staying current on financial markets and investment trends. Over time, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for an existing book of business while managing established client relationships and developing new ones.

Duties

  • Support the development and implementation of client financial plans and investment strategies, including drafting Investment Policy Statements and recommending suitable asset allocations using model portfolios and pooled funds.
  • Maintain regular client contact to understand, document, and update client needs, objectives, and circumstances while strengthening long-term relationships.
  • Prepare client account reports, portfolio summaries, meeting materials, and presentations to support client reviews and planning discussions.
  • Support client onboarding, account maintenance, documentation, and administrative workflows, including coordination with internal departments, custodians, and external service providers.
  • Collaborate with Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and other internal and external partners to support coordinated client service and advice delivery.
  • Monitor financial market trends, portfolio activity, and client circumstances to identify when updates or adjustments may be required.
  • Ensure client files, documentation, and recommendations are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal procedures.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to remain current with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Over time, assume responsibility for managing an existing book of business, including leading client review meetings, deepening client relationships, and identifying opportunities for additional planning and service needs.

Requirements

  • Currently in an Associate or similar Advising Representative role with a bank.  
  • Minimum 8 years of financial services industry experience and/or financial planning. 
  • Preferred certifications: Possession of, or near completion of CIM, CFA, CFP.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Salesforce and Dataphile is a strong asset. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning in the finance industry.

Pay: $105,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
