The Spa Attendant plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our guests at the Spa by Valmont. This role ensures the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation across all spa facilities, including the locker rooms, fitness centre, and pool area.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests with warmth and professionalism, providing an orientation to the spa facilities and services.
• Assign lockers and ensure all amenities, towels, and refreshments are impeccably presented.
• Offer and serve beverages such as tea, coffee, and infused water in a refined and attentive manner.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all spa areas — including locker rooms, lounges, fitness centre, pool deck, and linen areas.
• Replenishes amenities, towels, and supplies throughout the day to ensure uninterrupted service flow.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, providing thoughtful and discreet service at all times.
• Support the Spa team in daily operations and collaborate effectively to maintain smooth service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Forbes Five-Star standards and The Hazelton Hotel’s service culture in every interaction.
• Handle guest inquiries with professionalism, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to ensuring total guest satisfaction.
• Move, lift, and transport linens or supplies as needed (up to 75 lbs).

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a spa or wellness environment preferred.
• Exceptional personal presentation and interpersonal skills, with a natural passion for guest service.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
