Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Technologist specializing in Radiodiagnostics! In this vital role, you will perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results that are crucial for patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will support physicians by providing high-quality imaging services using state-of-the-art radiodiagnostic equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care through precise technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for medical science.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain radiodiagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI units, and fluoroscopy systems with precision and care.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
  • Follow established protocols to produce clear, accurate images while adhering to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, equipment calibration, and quality control checks.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues with imaging devices promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Uphold strict infection control practices and ensure the clinical environment remains sterile and safe at all times.

Requirements

  • A recognized degree or diploma in Medical Technology or Radiodiagnostics from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience operating radiodiagnostic equipment in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to radiology and diagnostic procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Good communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate with medical staff.
  • Certification or licensure as required by local health authorities or regulatory bodies is highly desirable.
