Company Overview:
CONOVEY is a leading provider of innovative conveying solutions to the food processing industry. We specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of conveyor systems that enhance efficiency and productivity in food handling and processing operations.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Site Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems, specifically tailored for the food industry. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation:
  • Install and configure food conveyor systems according to project specifications and layouts.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, including the installation of motors, gearboxes, and drive systems.
  • Maintenance:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate installation activities.
  • Provide on-site training and support to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Compliance:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards while on-site.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installation processes and service reports.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role, with a focus on conveyor systems, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various environments, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in millwrighting or a related field is preferred.
  • Industrial Mechanical Millwright 433A
