Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Instructor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the French language and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching students of diverse backgrounds. . The position is suitable for individuals with classroom experience and a commitment to student success.

Duties

  • Develop and deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to various age groups and proficiency levels
  • Prepare students for TEF Canada / TCF across all skills
  • Conduct mock exams and provide targeted feedback
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation
  • Incorporate cultural elements related to French-speaking regions to enhance learning experiences
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of students with special education requirements when necessary

Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential
  • Prior teaching or classroom experience is highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey language concepts and motivate students
  • Experience working with diverse learners, including those with special education needs, is a plus
  • Passion for teaching and fostering cultural understanding through language education
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt teaching methods as needed
  • Certification or formal training in language instruction or education is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
