We are seeking a motivated, self-driven, and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our growing team at AMJ Furniture Shop.

The ideal candidate has a passion for home furnishings and interior design, enjoys building relationships with customers, and thrives in a sales-focused environment. You genuinely enjoy helping people create beautiful spaces and are committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, providing expert product recommendations, and guiding them through the purchasing process. You will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining our showroom, and ensuring every customer has a positive and memorable shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service throughout the sales process.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Assist customers in selecting furniture that fits their style, budget, and needs.
• Process sales accurately using the POS system.
• Manage customer orders and coordinate delivery scheduling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Conduct cold outreach to generate new sales opportunities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and required to work on weekends when scheduled
• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for providing outstanding customer service and building relationships with customers.
• Professional dress and appearance
