Job Description
Managing the daily operations for a lawn care business operating primarily in the Burnaby area

Requirements

-Must live in Burnaby, New West, East Vancouver, or Coquitlam Area
-Experience in management, running software, and performing lawn care jobs
-Ability to work 50+ hrs/wk in Spring and 20+ hrs/wk in Winter—with consistent salary
-Interested in tracking and boosting KPIs, such as labor efficiency, profitability, close ratio, etc.

Responsibilities

FIELD
-training new employees
-managing current employees
-generating in-person estimates
-making last minute adjustments to the schedule when necessary
-leading team meetings (both weekly and quarterly)
-completing in-person chores like dropping off vehicles/equipment for maintenance, updating vehicle insurance, restocking the storage unit, checking the company mailbox, etc.

OFFICE
-Emails to clients and vendors (vendors = accountant, lawyer, suppliers)
-Outgoing Phone calls to clients and vendors
-Forwarding invoices to accountant and double checking payroll numbers
-Booking new work on company CRM
-Routing the jobs for the crew on company CRM
-Running performance pay software for the crew (entering the numbers daily)
-Interviewing new employees and working through the hiring process (e.g phone interview, reference check, personality test, etc.)
-Analyzing the business to improve profitability

We’re looking for someone who loves management in the lawn care industry and understands the demand curve throughout the year (working more in the Spring and less in the Winter). If you are entrepreneurial but want a stable position, this job would be a great fit. It offers more independence than you would typically experience at an established company, while providing a wage that is higher than most new companies can afford.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
