Description complète du poste

About NYCO

NYCO is a premium design-build remodelling firm in New Brunswick offering Renovations, Design, Custom Cabinetry, and Future-Ready adaptive renovations (Aging in Place). We don't just build — we design spaces that transform how our clients live. We're growing, raising the bar on what residential remodelling looks like in Atlantic Canada, and looking for a Project Manager who wants to be part of that mission.

Role

As Project Manager, you'll own the full lifecycle of each project — from sales handoff through final walkthrough. You're the primary point of contact for our clients and the person who keeps trades, timelines, and budgets moving in the right direction. This isn't a desk job with occasional site visits; you'll be in the field, in client homes, and in the shop, making sure every project reflects the premium standard NYCO is known for. You won't be selling the work — you'll be the one who makes sure what was promised actually gets delivered.

What You'll Do

  • Own projects from sales handoff to completion — scope, schedule, budget, and client experience are yours to manage.
  • Step in at the pre-construction handoff from Sales and carry the project through to final sign-off.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, keeping homeowners informed, managing expectations, and delivering a premium communication experience in both English and French. Regular project updates logged in JobTread.
  • Schedule and coordinate trades and subcontractors, ensuring work flows smoothly and meets NYCO's quality standards.
  • Track project budgets and costs in real time, flagging variances early and keeping projects profitable.
  • Flag material and delivery issues early to keep the schedule on track.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets design intent and building code requirements.
  • Manage change orders with discipline — clear documentation, client sign-off, and no surprises.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure the vision is executed accurately on site.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become problems — for the client and the company.
  • Contribute to process improvement as NYCO continues to grow and refine its operations.

Who You Are

  • Bilingual (English and French) — written and spoken. This is essential, not a nice-to-have.
  • Experienced in residential construction or remodelling — you understand how projects are built, not just managed.
  • A self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects forward without waiting to be told what's next.
  • Results-driven — you measure your success by on-time delivery, budget performance, and client satisfaction.
  • A genuine team player who builds trust with clients, trades, and colleagues.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with JobTread (or similar construction project management software) is required.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can navigate tough conversations with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in residential construction, renovation, or remodelling.
  • Strong working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and trade sequencing.
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering technology, or a related field is an asset.
  • PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent certification is an asset but not required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Company supplied vehicle
  • A growing company with a clear vision — your work will shape the future of NYCO.
  • A collaborative, supportive team culture where your ideas matter.
  • Opportunity to work on diverse, high-quality design-build projects across our four service lines.
  • Professional development support and room to grow into a leadership role.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Dental care
  • Extended health care
  • On-site parking
  • Vision care
