Courtyard by Marriott Brampton is seeking a friendly, professional, and service-oriented Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team. As the face of the hotel, you will play a vital role in creating memorable first and last impressions while ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and welcoming stay.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Complete guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and payment processing accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest communications while providing information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Process reservations, cancellations, modifications, and room changes using the hotel's property management system.
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, process payments, reconcile cash, and balance shift transactions.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Recognize Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members and deliver brand standards and loyalty benefits.
• Promote hotel services, amenities, upgrades, and Marriott Bonvoy enrollment opportunities.
• Assist with guest requests, including luggage storage, wake-up calls, transportation information, and special accommodations.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the Front Desk and lobby areas.
• Follow Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and all safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Support Front Office operations by completing administrative tasks and assisting fellow team members as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service or Front Desk experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Previous Marriott experience is considered a strong asset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
• Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems; experience with FOSSE, PMS systems, or Marriott applications is considered an asset.
• Cash-handling experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as business levels require.
