Our Make Space Storage location in Sooke, BC, formerly known as “West Coast Super Storage,” offers traditional self-storage, portable storage, and RV and boat parking.

Job Description – Who we are looking for to join the team:

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Facility & Yard Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to wear multiple hats, enjoy a challenge, and have a positive demeanour. You will help oversee this location's facility and yard maintenance, administration and customer service. Our company is a national storage company with multiple revenue streams on each of our sites.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanour.
  • Look for creative solutions to assist clients with their storage needs.
  • Build excellent relationships with existing customers, vendors, and service partners.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications and computer inventory systems.
  • Detail-oriented and accurately maintains client accounts.
  • AR/Collections for unpaid accounts.
  • Cleans and maintains vacant storage lockers as required.
  • Routinely inspect the facility and property for cleanliness, security breaches and maintenance requirements for yard, infrastructure and equipment.
  • Seasonal Landscaping includes snow shoveling and lawn maintenance
  • Ensure safety and compliance align with company policies.
  • Support sales and management with ideas on maintaining and growing the business.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Forklift experience is an asset. Training will be provided.
  • Property Management, Landscaping or Yard Maintenance Experience
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Ability to learn new computer programs, online systems and maintain inventory accurately.
  • MS Office - Outlook, Excel and Teams
  • Ability to build relationships with clients, vendors and business partners.
  • Accounts Receivable/Collections experience an asset.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Work Schedule:

  • 3 days a week, 24 hours a week.
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
