the shop i worked at had the best manager i've ever worked for hands down. good place fair pay comparable to other shops. only downside is they paid buy physical check not direct deposit so i would have to pick up my check on my day of

The management did not care about staff whatsoever and would often degrade or belittle staff. The company culture was very negative towards general staff and was only rewarding for those in management.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with the Zanchin family! Great team effort! I truly appreciate all their help and support always! I miss them dearly! Would definitely work for them again in an instant!

They actually take care of their employees! Really great auto group to work for.
No complaints about this employer. Once you're a straight up, honest and a hard working employee you will be loved and well appreciated! Managers are one of the best to work for in the industry! Consider yourself blessed if you get an opportunity here.

Good to work there but the work environment was not the best out there. Good management paid fairly however the position included a decent amount of physical activity.

Was good time working there learned a lot of management skills working with the lot attendants. The facility was in need of an upgrade other than that the business manager sales manager and sales personals were very easy to communicate with.

One man show, its owner. No management hierarchy, hire/fire people on personal relations. No formal training. Owner interviews controller and other accounting staff and does not trust president accounts/finance to let people hire. Tussle between finance director and president finance. Racist management

was offered a service advisor position at 2 Zanchin dealers at the same time in Woodbridge and was working on obtaining employment from a third. First dealership offer was declined and the fix OP clearly stated that he will make sure I dont work for the otherbrand. Joe Zanchin fired me after 1 day because I declined the first

The company has high turnover rates, is slow to release Health Benefits to its employees when they reach appropriate service time and is quick to get rid of staff should they become ill or injured on the job using a whatever it takes approach to do so.

Company leadership has no clue about time management and they don't care to fix it - the only thing that is important to them is profit.


Customer retention would be a problem, if the dealership were not the only option in town. Free oil changes are advertised, but then denied customers when they come in the first time to do business.


Following government laws, regulations or rules is not important.


Service Canada is already looking at the company for its disregard for simple rules and requirements when it comes to filing Records Of Employment. If you work here, pay attention to your pay cheque carefuly because you never know what you might get or not get.


Oh and who knows what the Ministry of Environment might say or do if they ever made a visit here.

Employees and Staff is amazing, everyone is nice, welcoming, helpful. Hours are good and it pays well, as for benefits that probably different depending on how often you work there and your position. Usually its busy but it changes sometime. Some days are really busy, other days its steady, some days its slow. It all depend on, its usually based of its seasons. I learnt much working at Maple Honda, it has allowed me to grow and improve as a person. However, management doesn't always seem to know what going on. If their is issues going on between you and another employee, I advise you to file a complaint, instead of waiting for them to take notice. Food is provided always, Whenever you hungry you can just grab a quick snack at the snack bar "the front desk", some days they order up lunch. Every Saturday of every week the company buys lunch for your service for coming in. Overall its a pretty amazing place to work at.

A typical day at work would involve coming in and leaving super early (only because of the location) so nothing against them, I was a service advisor there so that alone is a tough job because you are the messenger for whats wrong with peoples vehicles and typically they dont like hearing $$$$, so you have to have a thick skin to do that kind of position, but i also helped manage the Warranty Claims and Followed up with customers regarding their parts orders.

Really old facility with really out of date equipment. Very unorganised management with very little communication between departments. Techs work great as a team.

New management is ridiculous! Snobbish, no extra hours. Promised raise was never given even after working for a year. Expect you to go out of your way, and don’t get appreciated for it. Social media and advertisement is not modern/ up to date. Horrible place to work at, you will not grow! More like take on stress and go crazy.

the service manager was a perv and had no people skills at all. was just about the almighty dollar. At one point it was a great place to work, but this was a very long time ago... not sure how it is now.

Was hired at a time when they had a shortage of techs then let go once the manager was fired and the techs who quit came back.
Great people to work with and decent shop equipment.

Money was good and seemed like Newmarket Nissan has a large customer base which is good for a flat rate tech. Flat rate times are also above average for most shops that i have personally worked at.

Techs are required to work long hours and every other weekend.

The shop foreman was not very helpful in times of need.

When you go to return from maternity leave and the don't accommodate you...not a good place at all. Under new management, the dealership is like a revolving door. No one cares, and the new GM is a jerk...
