they cut off my hours with no explanations, poor management of the store, sales associates are underpaid and the tasks are not well distributed. A lot of unfair treatment took place as the manager and the supervisor were very close, and always made excuses for each other. It might have been at my store only though, but there was a lot of bad talking about the other stores as well.

I loved working here. Environment was very friendly and there were multiple opportunities for advancement in the company. In 2 years i went from part time sales associate to full time assistant manager & was offered a management position before my departure.
A typical day at this company would be to clock in on time, open the store in a timely fashion. Make sure paperwork was up to date and all merchandise is well organized. Hold and attend meetings. Store manager was productive and had a positive attitude. Head office was changed on a regular basis due to incompetence, lack of professionalism, and experience. Hardest part of the job was constantly having to hire and train new staff based on head office inability to effectively budget and advertise brand (They were expecting employees to work miracles by having one person work the whole store from open to close on days there should have at least been five staff members present and as a result clients were lost).Room for promotion could not be expected. Also, if staff member happen to pass probation the staff member found out very soon she/he could not afford to live off the pay they were receiving and had to quit in order to get a better paying job so they could purchase basic necessities in order to live. Suggestions to promote the store and bring in revenue was also rejected. The most enjoyable part was working with staff members and clients in the store. The staff remained positive and the clients were patient.
Everyone came together to fill the fridge
long hours, lack of promotion, little benefits, slow to raise pay, refuse to listen to ideas that would generate revenue
