When they recruit you, the company goes over the top for your services. Hoping for the best, you get mislead that projects are lined up so company moral is up. Once the project ends, your services are no longer needed. They favour more Worley employees then the other. Mismanaged, low moral, management easily throws you under the bus when mistakes happen. Poor company!
This company has the talent to identify good engineers and laid them off. It is full of social people instead of professional people. There's no perfect company, but this company in deed developed kind of culture in a very different way from to be professional.
Enjoyed working within my individual group. I had opportunity to grow professionally in my career and had great co-workers who were supportive. I also received several wage increases.
good co-workers, good wages
layoff with the O&G downturn

A company with a focus on staff who socialize with the right people rather than produce anything useful.
A company which is focused on things other than client requirements. Internally like a lot of other companies the focus is on diversity, gender equality, equal opportunity etc. This focus erodes competiveness.
WorleyParsons is an okay company to work for. It all depends on what experience you have and what projects you are working on. I joined during an upswing, which lasted about a year. Once the major project ended, things spiraled down quickly and heads started to roll.
Typical day includes lots of overtime, lots of dealing with unorganized managers, likely and anouncement of the re-orginization of the OH people, cuts to benefits and salary.
you arent that sad when you leave
A typical day of at work plenty with lack of ethics....intolerance..... I've learned how to withstand the intolerance..... Poor Management....... (90% percent of coworkers does not have a good communication skills. The hardest part was to stay there. My boss in my last day, told me do not issue bad comments about that office. The most enjoyable part of the job: my last day there.
Lack of ethics
Typical EPC environment, completely "spoiled" by good economy and long term relationships. Not competitive or global strategic outlook.
Work life balance
Huge resistance to change at all levels, horizontally and vertically
