No diversity or focus on improving culture. Only manager level and down represented by BIPOC at Cdn head quarters. Incredible scrutiny, ongoing pressure and environment of criticism. Dictators in lead positions with direct reports fearful of speaking up. Support and recognition is non existent. No room for advancement coupled with favouritism and nepotism related to any available opportunities.

Management, culture, benefits
This is not good place to work .No communication between coworkers , no room for advancement, no one cares to train new employees. You are left on your own to figure out everything and they except you to know EVERYTHING with ZERO training. NO work culture. It is basically little India international student rule there.

From the beginning itself, I started acquiring great skills and learned workplace culture and other important work duties. I worked as a grill person which is the most important position in wendys.

Overall the job is very basic fast food job featuring the same tasks daily. Enter the job with a small skill set that expands over time for the job. Most enjoyable part of the job was the positive customer interactions.

Sometimes extremly long hours
A typical day consisted of taking orders, exchanging money, delivering orders, cleaning/upkeep of the dinning room and restrooms. Management for the most part was very rude and was certainly the hardest part of the job. I learned valuable customer service and time management skills.
Show up, get on line and help out with one another. Hardest part is when we are short staffed because people are doing multiple roles. However we make it work with a little bit of frustration! The most enjoyable part of working at wends is the staff. We know when to have fun and we know when we need to be serious.
Working at Wendy's has been a great experience for me. You're able to meet friendly coworkers, get rewarding skills and have a good workplace culture.
