Good job if you like meeting new people every day. It can be stressful during rush hours. Management just wants to keep labour cost low and make workers work extra. You are assigned different shifts each day with no regular schedule (morning shifts 8am to 4pm, afternoon shift 11am to 7pm and night shift 4pm to closing time)

I was told people don't leave jobs they leave bad management..... and this place is axactly what it is (BAD Management!!) If you decide to get in touch with corporate the hire UPS are all friends with the management so no chance they're either

The job isn't hard as soon as you have a handle on it. It's fast pace and that can be stressful at times. Biggest downside is the customers, fast food customers are feel meaner than most. I've had a customer curse me out and physically hit me because their sandwich was made wrong. The coworkers felt like family. That was the hardest part about leaving and the only reason I stayed as long as I did. The pay is so incredibly low. It's not worth it unless your still in highschool and you don't need to pay for anything in your life yet. Management is relaxed, not a lot of stress although the store manager had their ups and downs.

People like to talk to you like your dumb and higher-up managers only care about labor and time, not people. Don't care when others call in but will threaten to fire you for calling in.

Just weird. I don’t understand who would want to work there. It is a toxic place with toxic managers. You get underpaid and it’s long hours because they always ask you to stay after your scheduled time.

Working for Wendy’s was fun and showed me to work hard in order get the things I want in life. The people there were nice and helpful. Also the manager were good.

I can most certainly say the best thing about wendys is they pay you for your work. Since day one, I've always came in and done my job and done it right and they definitely show me the appreciation for it. Not just in money but by telling me as well!

I worked for the company for about a year and a half. Fast food has its ups and downs. What makes it work is the coworkers, good management, and the customers who are regulars. I started out as a crew member but I worked my way up to shift supervisor within almost a year of working. It was a fun job when you have the right people by your side. You have to complete the training videos and have an upbeat attitude to succeed and be willing to be a team player.

Their always understaffed, and expect you to do a three man job for one man's pay! What a complete waste of time, and energy! I wouldnt wish this job on my worst enemies.

Working at wendys i met alot of new people got to know some of the regular customers. The crew was fun and hard working the store manger always strived for success and to bring a whole new meaning to fast food but the assistant store manger gossips about other employees writes people up for the things you hear from a regular disgruntled employee or a joke or two but if you make a joke he goes out of his way to make you suffer.. i got fired for doing my job and still having fun to keep up the mood of the employees while still maintaining our goals. He twists words and singles you out if he doesn’t like you same with the owner i have heard him say some pretty nasty things i.e are you re*****d and yes i am i have mild autism and adhd. Overall crew is amazing management needs a reality check except the store and general manager

Don't expect too much out of Wendy's; it's fast food. Management is either hit-or-miss and the job is simple but stressful. You will need to move fast, and think fast. For most places, you can be promoted if you do hard work within a year, and pay as a manager is better--more stressful though.

Now that CKA management took OVER! It's no longer a great company it ONCE was. Even when you follow the dress code ( it's gotten stricter) your still being told how to look! The owners ask for the impossible at times knowing certain stores are older than others. Over worked, under appreciated! Want you to have pride, without any appreciation given! All they care About are SALES, DRIVE THRU TIMES AND INSPECTIONS! only thing that keeps you there would be the AWESOME co workers but it won't keep you for long!

I've worked mostly closing shifts, which has been rough at times, but regularly closing will likely net you a good bit of overtime pay, as you will almost never finish your closing tasks by the time the store closes. The pay could definitely be better, but I'm pretty sure that most people who work here are making at least a little bit more than the minimum wage. The pay for supervisors isn't awful, but I think it could be better. Theret are also ample opportunities to move up in the company and increase your earnings if you decide that this is where you want to stay. Overall, this isn't the worst place to work at, nor is it the nightmare that many would describe it as. Some days here are really tough and will test your mental fortitude, but I'm sure you could say the same thing for just about any service job. Staffing issues plague this store, and you will frequently run shifts with less than ideal number of crew on the floor, especially if you work evenings or nights. When everyone and everything are in their correct places for your shift, this can be a very fun and rewarding job, but all it takes is a call-out or two to make your shift a disaster. Overall, this is a fun job, but staffing issues plague the store, as there often aren't enough staff to account for the volume of sales and customers.

They use you and work you like a dog. They definitely have their favorites and people often walk out and slack off during their shifts. If you’re just starting out beware!! Trying something else, ANYTHING ELSE!

Wendy’s want you to succeed, they are always proving from within. The Managers are training and guiding the crew for their success. Each crew member is to help each other. No drama at the Brimfield store and I’ve been there going on 3 years.

Crew members used to get a free small sandwich and their choice of a 4pc nugget or junior fry, or they could get their employee discount on anything. Now they only get the employee discount. You only get maybe a $1.50 raise to be promoted to management and still make less than some of the regular crew members. Even some of the higher management doesn’t even make $14/hr. The insurance they offer has a $5000 deductible. The customers will get really mad over even the smallest of mistakes. Workplace drama is crazy and half of the managers cause it. Some crew members will act like they know everything and refuse to listen even when policy changes. Don’t get me wrong, a good bit of the people there are cool and all, but the ones who cause problems make it an awful work environment. The GM and some of the managers will get upset with for wanting to leave when your shift is supposed to end.

Great place to work. Family oriented. I am never bored, my shift flies by. It is fast paced and energetic. You get to work with tons of different kinds of people, I have met many of my best friends from here.
