I have no words I learnt a fair amount and it was a good first job but I would hate to have been stuck there, and the uniforms were bad and there were no exceptions for when it was cold or extremely hot, the aprons only had functional pocket and we clunky and just another layer that what didn't even feel like material, we had to work six hours before a 30 minute break and very little care for mental issues. There was one particular manager who hated everyone but especially the girls and would taunt and sneer at us for no reason and even pretend to throw a punch at me, as well as yell and complain constantly no matter how hard we were trying.
50% discount for employies but only alowed to use it once a day
no fair breaks, no inclusiveness to the LGBTQ+ community lots of tension and very little space
I worked there for over a year, striving for greatness, impressing the managers, and pushed myself to work the hardest I could. But unfortunately I was not rewarded for my work, and was refused any kind of pay raise for my dedication. This lead me down a road filled with stress. Many of my coworkers including myself are in search of new jobs because of poor training skills and lack of care for employees. The restaurant could improve by hiring more people, but this is hard because of the poor turnover rate.
Hours are not very flexible and it can be very difficult to get the shifts you’re comfortable with.
First, they don't do their jobs properly. never had a raise despite of having to work there for more than 8 years. To think that I'm getting paid the same as the new people. Managers are so lazy and I end up helping everyone. Managers are absolutely garbage. They have managers who talk bad about their employees. They have no respect. Acting like they know better than everyone but in reality they just pass on the work to us. I hate to think that I work so much more than everyone yet I don't get the recognition I deserved. These people know how I work and they're too dependent on me now. And if someone does poorly on their job, I'm always the one getting blamed. These people will ask you to do something for them at multiple times at the same time and they get mad if you can't do one of them. The new people that are getting hired doesn't really help at all. They're all slow and despite of working more than a couple months already, they still don't know what they're Doin and I end up helping
You get free food as long as you don't get caught
Dramas, unnecessary extra work, underpaid, lack of respect

I trained at Wendy's on Lundy's Lane but worked at the restaurant on Clifton Hill when it first opened - so we're going back a couple decades (plus). Nonetheless, I really enjoyed working there. The crew was great, management was great. Awesome place for a teen to gain experience, learn about teamwork, and make some money. I'm sure there's room for advancement if you stay long enough.
Can get busy & a bit overwhelming
My review overall working with Wendys was amazing. It was my first job and I picked up fairly quick they are awsome with training new employees. It was very faced paced I was a sandwich maker for skip orders and dine in. Thought certain hours of the day was the very hardest. Like 12pm rush and 5pm rush. Overall I think Wendys is a great start and very recommended.
I worked at a Wendy’s and it was fun due to the coworkers that I had but the management is unfair, they would make you stay 2hours past your original shift time, they made a friend of mine open the store then work all day until closing.
50% food anytime usually
the management is awful. they dont care about you or if someone at work is acting negatively to you. you can talk to the management as much as you would like but they will ignore you and your problems. everyone that works there is rude. overall would not recommend to work here as it is absolutely terrible

I had a second job during the summer and management didn’t give me a single shift for an entire month. Keep in mind my availability was any evening 5pm-11pm and for one whole month I didn’t get a single shift
This is not good place to work .No communication between coworkers , no room for advancement, no one cares to train new employees. You are left on your own to figure out everything and they except you to know EVERYTHING with ZERO training. NO work culture. It is basically little India international student rule there.
Managers treats you like dirt, expects you to do tasks and time limits that isnt reasonable. Work life blanace isnt there. Most times they expect a lot more from you even if you already work 10 days in a row. Not a workplace for everyone to be in
Long hours, stressful time limits, hot environment
Toxic work environment.Sick people.Sick management. How they can care about the customer servixe if they dont know how to treat employees.Poor salary. No benefits for the crew member and the managent have all the benefits that required. So basically the gonna treat you as a slave not as an employee.
Manager is rude, no hours. Environment sucks. The job is mostly for kids. Poor professionalism. Won’t recommend any adult that want a full time job to apply there. Big waste
Discount is great
From the beginning itself, I started acquiring great skills and learned workplace culture and other important work duties. I worked as a grill person which is the most important position in wendys.
50% Discount on meals.
Sometime excess workload
I worked there for a long time, left about a year and a half ago. Only two good managers and a ton of bull involved, only got negative feedback, honestly the grimsby location is a mess When I worked there time off was never respected, the availability forms were totally neglected, and the store is all about favourites. Leaving that place was the best decision I ever made. Everything was fine before the current General manager.
Good place if you are from out of country. Some of the managers are amazing people. If you have an issue good luck on getting resolved. Work like dog.
Lack of communication skills. Getting worked like a dog and a hitch.
