Honestly after having finally changed jobs to try and gain more experience, I do miss the place and it was a good experiece to work there. There were many ups and down but all and all I dont regret my time there, sometimes I even find myself wanting to go back. However this place is a stepping stone to move up,
Builds responsibility and work ethic.
Its a thankless job. Can be stressful. Can get sucked in longer than you really want.
Productive and a lot of room to grow. However,High paced environment, fun to work, need someone who can balance good and bad stress, multi tasking,Positive, willingness to work hard, committed, enthusiastic and hardworking people will do best.
This job is fast paced, can be stressful, but overall fun. If you are looking for a fun first job I recommend applying. The people are firendly and are always willing to help you learn and grow at your job, and you are not always on the same station (once you complete your training).

Very busy and a lot of work that needs to get done for closing shift. As tiring as it is, but always have a fun shift with the co-worker. Everyone helps out everyone and the management is Great!
Got very along with all mangers
No free meals
Only work at Icomm Drive if you absolutely need the cash and can't find anywhere else to work. This is most toxic work environment I have ever worked at. GM acts like a highschool student from gossiping to general passive aggressiveness when you don't worship them.
general manager, harassment, drama, gossip, being overworked
I got work experience as well as cash experience so it was a good first job. Would not recommend if you are just wanting a job because you have to do alot of horrible jobs and deal with a lot of customer service (angry customers, police etc)
Working at wendy's canada was a Great journey and a great addition to my work and learning experiences. I met wonderful people and learned great skills from working there, like customer service and Safety skills.

It was a great place to work, would go back if they payed more.. I loved working there, it was a fast paced environment with great people. Reason I left was because 1 manager brought chicken out of fryer early and I complained and he didn't get in trouble for a serious issue.. So I said I cant work for a place like that.
minimum wage job
When I was a crew leader at Wendy's Restaurant, New Liskeard, I had a great opportunity at taking an authoritative position. The general manager was awesome! Very easy going and resolved conflict professionally. He made every work shift enjoyable and showed great motivation and appreciation to his staff members.
- typically management is paid so low that they have trouble keeping good help. 12 dollars an hour to be a manager. It's not worth it at all. Hours are long and the District manager is breathing down your neck constantly. This is not a job I recommend for anyone over the age of 20, even for managers.
-when i get in there in the morning i clean the fryers ans take out the garbage from the night before. -working here made me learn to deal with stress under pressure and made me a good cleaner its really dirty there. -Managers are not always fair but they try wendys can get stressful. -Co-workers are easy to work with and fun to work with. -The hardest part of this job is doing grill open on Fridays because were really busy. -The easiest part of this job is makeing salads in the mourning ,its easy and fresh.
a typical day at work was very busy and fast paced, the management was good and i learned an immense amount of skills that made it possible for me to progress to eventually be in an assistant manager position. the hardest part of the job was keeping up with the pace the customers wanted, I was never standing around there was always a lot to do. my co workers were friendly and also hard working. the most enjoyable part of the job was the fact that the shift would simply just fly by. the hours would pass so quickly because i was always so busy
good, pay, lots of hours, discount on food
extremely fast pace, dealing with many tourists and their complaints
