I feel that Wendys is a great workplace because everyone is super helpful and we keep the store organized and clean so it’s presentable and welcoming for our customers and makes them want to come back.

Interacted with customers while taking their order and helped promote a positive image for Wendy’s through excellent customer service. l Controlled the cash register and balanced cash drawer at the start and end of daily shift. Helped maintain the restaurant through daily clean-up procedures.
I enjoyed working at Wendy's considering it was my first job, obviously fat food isn't where i wanted to work forever so i ended up leaving on great terms, told to come back whenever i want and that me and my work for Wendy's will be missed. It is a positive work place with great people.
food was unhealthy

Working there for work was good, though the managment team and the team itself, are not so professional. I did learn to work faster and communicate better. Hardest part of the job would be the rush, there is a rush at 12 and at 5pm, especially when you are new it is a bit harder but it is managable! It takes time to get better with the rush. It is a very good first place.

Hard to get the shift you want
Working at Wendy's had a lot of its up and downs, but the best part about it was the fact that it was busy, there was no time for slacking and sitting down. It was a learning environment and everyone learnt new things and participated in their own ways.
horrible workplace, the management is rude and tells people your personal business, it was always busy which was nice because it kept you busy. getting in and out of the location was not fun

The manager wouldn’t have the patience to teach you the proper way to do things had to learn on my own or ask another worker. you would have to keep track of your hour to make sure you were paid the correct amount. If I didn’t work until closed they would send me home early. And if there was a rush they would take the other cashier off to do dishes.
Had some great people and got to take food home if there was extra
Had really annoying manager and one employee
I got stressed out everyday because of my mental disorder, and dealing with stupid customers. But, if you're not like me, and can handle lots of stupid customers. You'll do fine.
Discount lunch during shift.
I would work 4 pm-11 pm Monday-Thursday but sometimes Fridays as well. I would take orders clean tables assist with drive thru, if the front wasn't busy. I would prepare fries or poutines, make gravy, help wrap sandwiches. I also started to learn how to make sandwiches and was starting to get sandwich maker shifts. I learned how to work with others in a fast paced environment and jump in were ever someone may need help to get the job done faster.

dealing with rude costumers
A fun environment to work in, very friendly and understanding staff. My manager was outstanding and helped me learn quickly. After only 3 months I was offered a better job in wendys but left because it did not fit my schedule with school at the time.
Wendy's is a fun, fast and productive place to work. Managers are friendly and will teach you everything you will need to know to be a successful employee.

My typical day at Wendy's drive-thru was first scanning my thumbprint to check in. Then, putting my hair in a hairnet and putting a hat on, and then grabbing my headset. I would wait in the drive-thru area for a car to arrive. If there was no car, I would stock up the area to make sure we had everything when the car arrived so it could be quick and easy. When the car arrived I would collect the order and money, and lastly hand the food. Overall, the work experience was amazing the co-workers were fun to be around, I was able to learn the value of money and seeing how others work hard to be where they are. However, with the job came some complications, the hours for me, personally as a student were not what I expected to be. Sometimes my hours would be in the morning to the afternoon with a 30-minute break which is completely fine. But, I ended up in the drive-thru area with my hours from 8:30 pm to 3:30 am, and these hours conflicted with my school hours, and sadly I had to leave the job.

The Long Hours
the job entails dealing with food and customers. As a cashier we had to take orders and prepare the takeaway orders. Was very fast paced, and needed to have a goos memory of the menu quickly. I do not particularly enjoy working with food.
