Working at wendys i met alot of new people got to know some of the regular customers. The crew was fun and hard working the store manger always strived for success and to bring a whole new meaning to fast food but the assistant store manger gossips about other employees writes people up for the things you hear from a regular disgruntled employee or a joke or two but if you make a joke he goes out of his way to make you suffer.. i got fired for doing my job and still having fun to keep up the mood of the employees while still maintaining our goals. He twists words and singles you out if he doesn’t like you same with the owner i have heard him say some pretty nasty things i.e are you re*****d and yes i am i have mild autism and adhd. Overall crew is amazing management needs a reality check except the store and general manager
One manager who will discriminate

After about a month I was asked while cleaning the trays to help with putting pop on the trays and one guy asked if I could warm the buns. Crazy.
Each person should do the job they were hired for. This is why I quit. I think the supervisor shouldn't allow this to happen and discipline fellow workers for pushing their their weight around so to speak.
Loved the people. Loved the environment. Strongly dislike DM and franchisee. Fast paced and there can be lots of pressure. Hours were awesome, super flexible. Pay is competitive.
The people, pay
Rude dm and franchisee

Very busy keeping up with multiple or big orders through the drive thru or in the dining room, everyday during lunchtime. The most enjoyable part of the job, is the people. All the people I work with, make it worth it being there everyday. Also as managers, free food is also very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed my time at Wendy's it is a fun place to work everyone is like family, you get to know customer's when they come in everyday the only thing i would change is some staff other then that great place to work
enjoyable work place
there are to many people working there, so employees are getting less and less hours. Some managers are miserable and not fun to work with. break room is small and cold.
managment works well around your schedule, other employees are fun and nice to work with.
don't give you the hours you ask for
As the company was understaffed at the time I was not given adequate training and was therefore uncomfortable working there. However, the staff was friendly and helpful when they were able to help me. The hardest part of the job was when you messed up an order and had to throw out the whole sandwich, and we have starving people on the streets. It was hard because you had to start all over and you were behind. If you are unable to handle stress and deadlines this is not the job for you.
10 percent off, friendly staff
inadequate training, managing problems
Job wasn't overly horrible. They gave you straight stable shifts if that was what you desired, they didn't have an issue with long holidays or shift changes. However the General Manager and owner are very rude to any person they cross paths with.
I have had nine hour shifts last twelve hours because of training heavily based on video instruction and very little time to train. I learned to handle multiple positions at a time because I was expected to. I learned that a job is not always worth the stress it creates, and a decent paycheck is worthless if you don't have time to spend it. My coworkers were the best part of this job. Customers and management were the most challenging part of the job.
50% off food while working as employee, 100% off as a manager while working
Stressful environment, almost no potential for advancement, few rewards upon advancement
