like... eh. It wasn't awful, some of the workers were mean to me, some of 'em were nice. Sometimes I left smelling like frier oil. But a paycheck's a paycheck.
I love working at Wendy's, most of the time it's always busy but I love making the sandwiches and serving customers. I learned so many stuff while I was working at Wendy's. I learned doing time management, handling work under pressure, multi-tasking, team work, leadership, and being more responsible. The hardest part is it's always busy but for me, that is so much fun. The most enjoyable part of the job is during closing time because everyone is helping each other to get the job done quickly.

As cashier it is your job to take care of the dining room to make it look nice and tidy, and take orders from the customers and giving them a good experience. While handling food it is a multi-tasking job. listening to orders and making sure the customers orders are correct and they are happy with their order. Keeping up to date with your supplies and letting others know as well.
too much discount food
When I worked at Wendy's, there was constant health code violations, the sandwich makers would get grease and sauces on their gloves and smear that on your burger when making it, have u ever wondered why the bun is so greasy? It's from that. The workplace is poorly cleaned, the managers don't care if your sick they'll make you come in and they don't care whether or not you are contaminating the food. If you object even though you have a right to you may get fired and replaced with someone else like that.
Understaffed, unsanitary and negative

I start off checking in, and then I proceed to my position. In terms of co-workers, they were all very nice people and very helpful. Therefore it is a good job for a student who is seeking for a part time job.
You will receive discount
I would take orders and deliver them to trays, clean tables and washrooms. I would also prepare for opening in mornings, prepare food along with turning on fryers and stoves. Food Prep, cut up veggie and make sure everything was fresh and ready
good pay for my age
not demanding enough
counting my cash, starting the pumps for gas, CSR in the store, cashier, etc....Management played favorites. Which I thought was unfair. My co-workers were great people to work with. Not really anything hard about the job
no room to move
I enjoyed the simple receptive tasks because I found it was easy to develop a steady rhythm and work at a productive speed. I developed good relationships with my co-workers and managers, as well as lasting friendships with a few of my regular customers as well as other building staff.
employee discount on food
overly entitled/rude customers
Working in a fast food chain is hard work. It includes in fast pace work abilities and multitasking jobs.Being a manager you learn how to train employees delegate tasks and help serve customers to their satisfaction.Working with a multicultural team of employers you get to know each others culture and also help them improve in their work abilities.Hardest part of the job is handling difficult customers but it comes with every job. You have to deal with someone and their situation.Enjoyable part is enjoying being with a team of great people.
