Ive worked at wendys for 2 years now and I have always gotten nothing but rude feedback from management when my health should have came first. I had been having some health troubles and went to the ER and they didnt care at all and expected me to come back as soon as I got out (the same night.) You can request days off and almost get all the days you ask for but will be treated in a weird fashion when you come back. Anytime something comes up or a inconvenience to them gets in their way they talk about you behind your back to all of your coworkers releasing info that isnt their business to release. Pay is about minimum wage unless you have about a years experience.
Days off, breaks
Everything else especially management.
It is very fast paced with daily sales and cleaning goals. We always try to huddle in the beginning of the shift. My favorite part of the job was taking care of my regular customers. Its a family based atmosphere that people can come and feel wanted. I learned hard working skills, costumer communication, team leadership, working together as a team, how to train others and handle problems with a calm mindset.
$10 of free food. Monthly Bonuses.
No breaks for managers. Hours are all over the place.

Working here was a wreck. Management is more concerned about their own petty arguments to actually help any of the crew members do their jobs. The managers are constantly snappy and the work environment is exhausting, but because of the managers, not the job. I met some great people, and I can say with total certainty that the only reason i stayed as long as I did was those people on the crew i met. It isn't worth the pay, it isn't worth the frustration, and i wouldn't even recommend working here to someone I didn't like.
slightly flexible with hours, easy to get hired
no breaks, management

terrible place to work. they do not care about their employees.take away peoples hours as a discipline. management sucks. nothing you do will please anyone there. if there are issues they wont do anything about it, youre left to deal with it and hope it resolves itself. they treat you like you arent a human being. i would never recommend ANYONE to work at wendys unless you want your mental health to go down the drain
Wendy's is honestly not a bad place to work, especially if you are returning to work or your starting to work for the first time. The hardest thing about working here is dealing with customers. There are a couple main positions at Wendy's and they are: cashier (front and drive-thru), dishwasher, sandwich maker, and food coordinator(person who gets fries and nuggets/deals with the fryer). The most enjoyable part of the job can be your crew mates and sometimes they can make your shift harder than it needs to be. All in all, it isn't the most enjoyable job but it does teach you important life and work skills, depending how you look at it.
flexible hours, 50% off your food if you're working, 10 minute break if you work at least 4 hours, 30 minute and a ten minute break if you work at least 5 hours
rude customers, unorganized schedule, some issues with management
I worked as a cashier and I worked at the window in my later months there. Wendys was my first job and only whilst in highschool. I started as a sophomore and left the summer after my senior year for moving to college.
be prepared to work long hours for little pay. Some days just two people at work. Customers with nasty attitudes. Employees with even worse attitudes. When your shift ends takes them almost an hour to let you go if your on a register. They don't wanna pay a fair wage
no breaks, long hours, hardly any fays off, managers with nasty attitudes
Horrible to work there. They will steal your money if you work a lot of over time. They won't pay you in full! If you deny to come into work when they ask you on your day off, they will cut your hours! They cut your hours for the smallest things because everything is personal to them and the managers are horrible.
This was an okay job. My coworkers were great overall. The kitchen was terribly hot in the summer and peak hours would get backed up at times. One day after suffering second and third degree burns while cooking during a hectic day, the manager took me to the back of the kitchen and covered the burns with tomato slices and paper towels and told me I could still work. This should have been handled by immediately reporting the incident and suggesting professional treatment.
