very busy and slow days. learning new stuff, cleaning, meeting with customers. having training lesson, 30 min breaks, commuincation between customers and staff

I was hired at the Wendy's in mission (in the junction) and At first I was hopeful to work there, but slowly my excitement went down as I saw the condition of the workplace. they started me off with online training at the wendys establishment, then once I learned how to make fries they started giving me shifts, my training was basically stopped there and then, and whenever I would ask about it they would say things like "we'll resume that in the future" or "we'll get to it later". My hours and shifts became more sparse, often 3 hours at once, every 2 weeks. almost all of those shifts have come from me prompting them. It almost feels like I was hired on accident.

You get to smell the food (just not eat)

Hours felt like they dragged on and on, little to no shifts, minimal hours.

A day at Wendy's would include grilling burgers for 6 hours and scrambling to close on time At Wendy's I learned the basics of customer service Management was quite possibly the worst I've encountered in any job ever? the Boss was fine, he kept to himself enough and seemed to care enough, But I've never experienced a worse supervisor in my life. Constantly degrading and insulting workers, keeping us as late as 1am well after punching out for the day, (Occasionally 3 hours of unpaid Labour) and expecting me to drive her home every night This job ruined Wendy's as a job and restaurant for me forever, I wish I knew better.
