If you want to work outside in all diversified climate this is the job you want to look for. You will learn that most the customer will complain to you about their lawn. This is a seasonal job you are there for a few months your scene is a number not thing else. You will be treated like you are disposable especially by the supervisor. And one important point is don’t expect more than minimum wage as a salary $14 an hour is what you are going to get.
They will paint you black
Do not even bother working for them. The job descriptions will literally say "NO SELLING" yet they have weekly sales quotas they demand that you meet and you need to knock on neighbours doors at every house to try and sell. Management does not care about you as a person, just how much money you make for them. The lawn work you do for customers can be getting 10/10 reviews all the time but if you aren't bringing back a bunch of sales every week they'll be upset with you and think you're lazy. Sure, they pay you a decent percentage of commission for any sales you DO make, but it's ridiculous how pushy they are for lawn techs to sell. They need to hire a sales team instead of adding more to the technician's already very heavy daily workload. Due to the way the payment system and shifts work, you might end up working an 8 hour shift or a 12 hour shift that day, lots of the time for reasons out of your control(equipment is old and will break a LOT and the trucks are beat up and long overdue for scheduled maintenance). Your shift ends when your list of jobs is complete but you get paid the same for the day regardless of whether it's finished in 8 hours or 12 hours, and no OT pay. Only positive things I can say is that the job is a good workout and the other technicians were great guys, but I would only ever see them in the morning while we loaded our trucks up. It's a horrible place to work, your body will be beat up, you'll be exhausted, you'll have barely any free time during the week, and it'll make you miserable. There's a reason employee turnover is so high, it just simply - plus...
The work environment at Weed Man Lawn Care was positive and produced. Majority of coworkers were charismatic, helpful, and respectful. Weed Man is a great place to work if you don’t mind long hours of walking in the cool weather and customer services.
One hour lunch break and meeting new people.
Standing for long hours in the cooled

It won’t be worth it. Pay is good but very deceiving people and work. You get to work alone so that’s not bad but you are always expected to finish you job list. Mississauga location
Long hours, early mornings, overtime and mandatory Saturdays
Company knows how to work their employees and get the most out of them. Lack of job security as you can generate sales lead but if the person following up does not close the deal, you are to blame for not getting good leads.
Poor job security
It sucks, because it's a great job, really fun. But they are constantly trying to screw you out of pay. They have fudged my commissions, charged me for uniforms I never recieved, fudged my working hours. I recommend working for them, really fun. But right everything down, and you need to be willing to fight.
The management is okay. They are professional on what they do and take care of customer care. However the work environment is stressful when things dont go their way. Like if you're unable to finished you job on time. Or not enough customer leads for door to door in winter time. Which was unprofessional because they will make you go get leads through a blizzard.
very good place to work i really enjoyed my time with the company , learned more about sales then what i new , coming into a company with no sales experience an leaving with a good sense of mind when it comes to making a sale an talking with customer over the phone with being able to sale the product to them
work long hours r.0.b is a waste yuteee lied to about pay. just a numbers game for them. don’t waste your time. if your could do anything don’t work here. so much added stuff that takes up your time. won’t even lay you off to get E.i. as they want you to door knock in the winter. no one wants a lawn tech at their door when there snow in the ground. waste of time avoid at all cost
Working at the Weed Man has been such an excellent experience. Management is so supportive and engaging, making it a genuinely enjoyable place to work. I love the community and how all staff work together to create a warm and accepting environment. I’m thrilled to be a part of the team.
Do not work for weed man you have to call.customers the day before to let them know you will be out the next day its about 10 too 30 calls and thats every day and you dont get paid for it u havd to be able to do at least 30 jobs a day with alot of driving in between you will only make 400 too 500 a week if you are lucky. The management is a joke they do not care about you at all only the jobs youyget done
Had no idea what went into maintaining a lawn until I went through the online and in person training at Weed Man. The training was very detailed but there is a lot to absorb, the good thing is the Manager really takes his time with coaching and follow-up.
