Use to be fun

New leadership new philosophies. Management is two faced, will tell you that you are doing good one day, let you go the next. Beware, this company has some really high goals and there's a lot of people they have used and let go. Hopefully you don't become one, lots of turnaround for a reason.

High stress, high priority, better not have family

The plant is pretty awesome high tech, and automated. Maintenance is difficult, but challenging. Hard to do it all for one person, especially if you have a family. Salary vs work load do not match. Ot as salary is maintenance not provided, so make you work for less than what you are worth. Business focused, can be rewarding but very stressfull

Great job

Wurth has been a wonderful opportunity for myself. I’ve learned a lot form the position and added a lot to my skill set. Very fortunate for the opportunity to work for this company.

Place for self motivated people, and if you want to make decent salary over achieve

Salary is confusing due to their system of guarantee, expectations are really high to produce and commissions are really low, you have to work 25% more to make same amount of money each year.

La direction met énormément de pression sur l'atteinte des objectifs de vente, sans tenir compte de la configuration du territoire.

Aucun côté humain. Changement de rémunération en moyenne au deux ans, objectifs fixé par la compagnie et augmentation annuel entre 18 et 25% chaque année, très difficile d'avoir une progression salariale. Manque de formation, pas de compte de dépense, on surveille même tes activités sur la tablette, peut-être que je suis tombé sur un directeur un peu trop zélé à ma dernière année.

Véhicule fourni et on ne lésine pas sur l'entretien, Cellulaire fourni. Tablette pour la prise de commande, très utile, vous avez même accès à l'inventaire en quelques secondes, très bon produits, vaste gamme

Aucun côté humain, tu n'est qu'une source de revenue pour la compagnie, même malade on veut que tu travailles. Surveille ta paie et tes commissions, souvent des erreurs. Manque de transparence de la direction.

Good solid company

Was not there long but a good experience nice building and perks. Lots of long term employees. Mangers are approachable. Nice open floor plan feels like a real team.

Overall it’s an awesome company. Great products, offers great compensation with benefits. They have a great support staff that is always willing to go the extra mile to help out sales reps in the field.

Five stars for management and salary

I was sceptical when I first joined. The company went through a lot of changes before I joined and my sales area in BC had a lot of turn over for this position. There is a new CEO and he seems to be fairly reasonable and supportive so far. My area is challenging but the pay is great if you put in the work. I make more money in my first three months with Wurth than working with the military after 6 years. The company also gives you a company car that you use for business which is nice especially in BC where the gas prices are through the roof. The management and training are top notch. The people actually care about this company. My manager is the best manager I had in my life and I had a lot of bosses in the past. Friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and he puts in 100%. Most of the employees I engaged with in the back office have 10 years plus with the company which is a good sign. This job can be challenging, you need to be able to learn quickly, have entrepreneurial mindset - always approaching new and old clients, and be honest and respectful with them. TLDR: As a sales rep, your experience will depend a lot on the manager you have and the area you are in. If your manager is not experienced or involved it can be a difficult start. If your area previously had bad sales reps, (not supportive, lazy, dishonest, greedy) it will be tougher to convince customers to do business with you.

Environnement et salaire

Les territoires sont petit et certains offrent peu d’opportunités de croissance ce qui fait qu’il est très difficile d’augmenter son salaire. Quand un territoire devient payant, il n’est pas rare qu’un réaménagement soit fait ce qui fait perdre des clients pour un représentant et affecté directement le salaire. Constamment sous pression pour developper. Le taux de roulement est très élevé dans certains territoires.

Many internal job opportunities

Wurth Canada has been so good to me! Over the last year and a half I have moved up from a maternity leave contract position as a coordinator to a permanent position as a supervisor. My team is amazing and hard working and my manager is very supportive. The other teams we work closely with help out whenever it gets busy and I can't say anything bad about Wurth other than the fact that the option of working from home keeps me away from seeing my work friends in person

Great place to work

I had a great team to work with. Everyone on the team were very collaborative and supportive. I enjoyed working with all my colleagues and my reporting manager. I had a great time working there. Grateful for the opportunities that were given to me.

Highly stressed environment

Your work day will be consumed by the constant pressure of greater sales. Your remuneration is low until you reach upper management. Good luck on that one. Company structure is set up exactly like MLM. The more customers you bring in the more employees they hire to take care of them, but your salary and compensation barely rises. Only top level receive the benefits of your hard work. Everybody on the lowest rung has to kick up to the one above, all the way to head office in Germany. If your keen on ponzu schemes take a chance.

Productive and effectiver workplace. Good collaboration between department.

Long term employees which speaks volume. Great reputation worldwide for quality of products. Fabulous training & career advancement. As this is a outside sales organisation, it has been very different than most companies i worked for, but so rewarding.

Poor management

Was lied to about salary and bonus structure by manager. End up working for less than minimum wage. DSM was out to make sure didn't meet target. Had favoritism from start on how accounts we divided out. Spent 100% time on new accounts

Great place to work. Only downside is you’re not paid anywhere near what you should be. They love saying how they promote from within, but they don’t.

With regards to compensation - our compensation structure is based on performance and achievement, that being said we have continuously taken feedback into consideration and re-examine our compensation structure to ensure it is reflective of the market. As for internal promotions, it is part of our integral process and value system to always consider our internal employees for new roles - as a matter of fact we have recently promoted a few employees to Sales Management roles! Pay structure needs to change

If things are good you can make a lot of cash. Miss your target and you make next to nothing. You can be up 30% 1 month and the following month miss by a few dollars and no bonus! Maybe if they made bonus less lucrative and upped the base to a living standard it wouldn't be a bad place to work. The training is quite extensive. Costs the company a tonne the way they do it. They are a bit too top heavy with management and the branches are in conflict with one another instead of working as a team.

Clueless manager and upper management, lied about what I would earn monthly, even when I hit the targets they would move the goal posts. Not to be trusted. Save your time and energy

Expect to feel expendable

Product is top quality, customer either love or hate it. The management is the big issue, using the "sales and only sales makes you a winner" and some manager recommended not to have friendship with rep that wont close the month to keep it a winning culture

This company expects the world but compensates like the 1980’s, and cannot be trusted. Two big issues and a reason not to work for this company. Run run run away from this company.
