A typical day at work would be waiting around for work to be given to us. I learned how to scan, do inventory, set up pallets, and clean and pack products. The management is very strict on their policies and care about your work experience. It’s a diverse culture. The hardest part of the job is trying to keep yourself occupied. I would say the most enjoyable part of the job is meeting people from different walks of life.

Due to covid-19 too much down time.
Working have old is like working at a sweatshop you’re underpaid and overworked if you have an emergency if you need to leave the same day you lose points and by losing points you put yourself closer to me and terminated things happen in peoples lives that should not happen you should be able to leave it in emergency and they can provide documentation to prove that they had a family emergency also Volt does not support its employees especially if you work at Apple Apple will close down the warehouse for a party for just apple employees and Volt employees will lose hours just because apple wants to have a party I did not think that that is OK or professional
Good for those who need a job immediately, it is super easy to get hired, takes a little as a week and the job is SUPER easy. With training it will take your about 3 days to learn everything
Actual 15 minute breaks, free coffee

It's a head Hunter company. They could care less about u. For them it's the temp to hire money not you they care about... In the end a temporary job at it's absolute best.
Usually never finish contract to hire
The volt staffing manager I was placed with was very rude and would not answer any questions I had regarding my employment. If you are being placed with this company for contracting I would advise requesting a different agency to handle your contract, my experience was difficult and unprofessional. Believe me, THERE ARE BETTER AGENCIES YOU CAN GO THROUGH.
Optional benefits for employees and accrued vacation
Unprofessional management that harbor a "not my problem" attitude and can be very rude.
Volt was ok. The recruiters seem to be only interested in getting numbers and not particularly the best interest of their applicants. Paid weekly, however. only via Direct Deposit or pre-paid bank cards.
Quick paced, learn new skills, meet a variety of people.
Recruiters are looking out for themselves, attendance point system, 6 points and you're outta there, re-hire status is affected at 5 points
Very good place to have a job manager. Everyone is very professional. I very good location to work at simply because it managed well. I found them to be very professional and well managed.
not enough overtime
Volt offers full time contract work for big name companies. I am currently working for them. They offer a one year contract and then you can't go back to that same location for a year. They tell you this up front. I was ready for full time and took the job.
Give you expirence and a foot in the door
Position is only a year long
While I have been working for Volt , recently things have been less communicative I need more hours, but Volt has lost work at GKN and now has contracted me to KRC maintenance where I have work foe about 12 hours in the past 3 months. My health is good and I have many years left to offer.
not enough hours
