Great training and helpful management. Weekly meetings if not more to keep everyone up to date on current issues and employee progress. You do have to know about the product you are supporting but other then that good experience.

the client loves to mico manage you all the time. you are not allowed to preform the job you are hired. Training so so out of date, when you hit the floor you are lost.

Worked with computers and smart phones. Call center environment gets repetitve but the managment and team were very supportive. Learned so much about computers.

this place likes to keep you where you are at all times it doesnt want you to grow because they have a set team and have chosen who will replace them.

I would get to work put my things in my locker then head to the room where we take calls usually be on the phone all day besides when I would get my two 30 min breaks.

The branch in Tempe is now closed. When I was employed there I had been passed around leadership so often I didn't even have proper a coaching. The contract pulled and laid off every employee.

great people to work with and had lot of assistance while training and working on the floor. All the Volt employees were very helpful thru the application process and thru training.

If you work hard you're not recognized and if you sleep with management you can get away with murder. A trainer was in an inappropriate relationship with a new hire and he would fire anyone who talked with her. Another was smoking weed in front of HR and is still there.

I learned a lot working here. Skill wise and people wise. I also learned time management skills as well. They're pretty lenient but most of the time it depends on the manager you have.

It was okay, really great people there. Management is the worsts. They always make it seem like you're doing something wrong and a lot of people come into work feeling as if they were going to lose their job.

The performance appraisal system is too difficult to pass on a regular basis. No time time in between calls. Metrics and performance evaluations are almost impossible to achieve and pass.

If you like call center, I would recommend this job for you. I love customer service, but sitting at a computer for your entire shift is uncomfortable for me. I more of a person who like to talk to a customer in person.

The job is quick paced and its working with customers that are having issues with their products. Our job is to just trouble shoot and try to fix their issues

Management was poor and the building actually laid everyone off because stats were not met. The place was completely unorganized which was very frustrating.

Constantly dealing with technical issue with iOS device & Mac OS devices paid training but it was self guided not hands on a lot of favortism goes on management is horrible. Not treated equally not respected as tenured advisor people made the same pay as people were making that had been there for 5 years and advisor would get hired get the same pay.

It was too laid back. The people who worked there didn't act professional. The managers had favorites, and would act childish. When you had to escalate a difficult situation, the Tier 2's wouldn't be of any help.

Good people there, managers are great - and great entry level job overall. "...Advisors are responsible for ensuring call resolution in a timely manner, meeting average handle time requirements for the program; while maintaining the highest standards of quality, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction with every interaction. Advisors will be expected to provide suggestions and options to the customer based on their needs. This involves up selling features/products to help the customer as much as possible. So if you’re eager to assist customers, find a solution that works best for each situation and be that helpful voice on the other end of the line – then this job is for you!"

This job was a toss up for me in that the work environment itself wasn't bad, nice coworkers who were at most times more helpful than management but I did have a few qualms with certain aspects of this job. For one thing, the systems on the computer constantly freeze or crash and then you get backlash from management for it like its your fault. The nature of the job isn't awesome, you either get calls from people who have no idea what they're doing, tech-wise, or the people who use you as the bunt of their frustration for their services and equipment being sub-par. The pay is okay but not worth the stress. Management at times treats agents' metrics like a contest and that can be frustrating. They get on you if you are on calls too long but half the time that's due to the aforementioned systems crashing out. They definitely give somewhat of a false illusion of the job during training, and there's a really high employee turnover to show for it
